When we moved into our house, it came with a 10-year-old irrigation system – automated/timed system of buried lines and sprinklers, buried rain water cistern and pump – that we didn’t understand. We just knew it wasn’t working properly. We needed someone to do some detective work, fix what needed fixing, as well as add an additional spigot at the far end of our yard. We’d been having a hard time finding anyone up to the challenge. Ethan turned out to have the perfect qualifications, experience, and disposition for the project. Everything about Ethan’s service is exemplary. He arrives on time, and if he is running late, he’ll let you know. He recently did both drainage and irrigation work for me. The irrigation part was relatively straightforward. Ethan let me know what the issues were in advance of him doing the work to get my approval, and then he did the necessary fixes. The drainage issue was a bit more challenging. Ethan approached the solution in a way that didn’t completely resolve the problem, so he came back again and again until it was fixed to my complete satisfaction. Additionally, he went above and beyond to get the lawn looking as close to what it was before the issue arose. (I have other issues with my lawn that are not irrigation and drainage related.) I highly recommend Ethan for any drainage and irrigation problems you are facing. He won’t declare the work completed until you are 100% satisfied. Hire him — you can’t do any better!

IRRIGATION

I first found Ethan after the person I’d found to put in an irrigation system at my home badly botched the job. Ethan came in and fixed the system at a really reasonable price. After we moved, though, we switched to the irrigation company that our contractor had hired to install the irrigation system. I soon realized the service was far below Ethan’s: the prices were higher, and the work was performed by folks who just wanted to check our house off their list. I switched back to Ethan for his responsible service, pride in getting the job done right, and always-fair prices. We couldn’t be happier.

I have engaged Laurdane Associates three times over the past decade. Our house in a subdivision is on the downside of a hill and so gets an overwhelming about of water from other properties when it rains. Laurdane has designed and installed a drainage system that is both effective and attractive. Over the years as the impervious service area in the subdivision has increased, the amount of water that flows through our property has increased, thus we’ve needed Laurdane to continue its work.
