At Laurdane Associates, we understand your landscape is important to you, and we want to help you make it the best it can be. One of the ways we do this is by installing and maintaining landscape lighting. In this article, we will focus on path lighting, going over a few ways to tell if your outdoor lights might need to be repaired.
- Flickering Lights – One sign your path lighting might need to be repaired is one or more of the lights starting to flicker. Unless you are using bulbs specifically designed to mimic candlelight, your path lights should glow steadily, and flickering means there is something wrong. This issue is typically caused by a faulty bulb, but if all your path lights are flickering, then there is likely a deeper issue at work.
- Lights Won’t Turn On – Another sign you need path lighting repair is if your path lights fail to turn on at all. If this happens, you likely have a problem with the wiring, and you should get it checked out as soon as possible. We can inspect your system to determine what is causing the issue, and we can provide the effective repairs you need.
- Dim Lights – A third sign you need path lighting repair is your lights becoming dimmer than they should be. If only one of your lights is affected, then the issue is likely a faulty bulb, but if multiple lights are affected, then the problem is likely within the wiring of the system.
